We're almost at the testing phase.

D.A.F.T, the fast paced, silly film quiz game I'm developing with my wife, has a new update! After having the realization about the best way to 'play' the game, we spent some time going over the quiz questions, and are very nearly at the 100-card mark. The aim is to have around 120 in total, giving 40 cards to each difficulty category, but this could be dropped to 105 (35 each) if the quality isn't there.
So what's next? Well, I'm glad you didn't ask. We've got the rules on how to play all set-out, some friends/family picked like lab rats all ready to run through this wonderfully weird game. This will let us see not only how the questions hold up, but also if the gameplay system we've chosen works. Here's hoping the rules are actually as good in practice, as they've been in my head. Otherwise, me and my wife will be picking up some pens, having a mini lightsabre fight, and then heading right back to the drawing board to try to work out a better gameplay system.
Once we've finalized the question, the next stage will be whipping up a prototype to carry out on the Alpha Test Team (AKA the family). Until then I hope you've enjoyed the update and we'll post the next stages of our process when we reach it, until then.
